Massage Therapy School Health Works Institute demonstration

Health Works Institute Massage Therapy School offers a comprehensive massage therapy training program. Students learn a variety of massage techniques and study the human sciences of anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, and psychology.

Students are prepared to perform relaxation massage and effective treatment of injuries, illnesses, and conditions most commonly encountered in the practice of massage therapy. Each student also gains hands-on experience in our professionally supervised Student Clinic.

Our program is carefully structured to teach the student how to: massage skillfully; communicate with clients; apply his/her knowledge of the human body, its structures and functions; and design efficient and effective therapeutic bodywork sessions. The academic and massage classes are integrated with personal growth opportunities and self care techniques that give the student tools to experience long-term success as a massage therapist. This, in turn, gives the student the opportunity to develop good habits for enjoying a healthy, balanced, satisfying life.

Graduates of Health Works Institute’s Massage Therapy School are eligible to take the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Graduates have the training and qualifications to be employed as massage therapists in a variety of professional settings, and they have the ability and practical skills to develop successful private massage practices.
